1 hr 30 min - Located north Portimão, already on Silves county. It's an exclusive wine farm production, the one located most north in the region ,right on the beginning of the Monchique Mountains. Owned by a portuguese-french couple that met at Bordeaux, where he was born and grew up surroundend by the influence of wine. They moved in the region at the beginning of the century to start this project from zero. In the slopes of Odelouca River Vlley, they planted their vineyard and built their small but well equiped winery, that also hosts a tasting room, barrels room and laboratory.
1 hr - Located on the north border area of Portimão and Alvor. With the big mountain of Monchique, that dominates the view when we are at the vineyards, this large property has also growing areas of cork trees, wheat fields and orange trees. In the family since 1865 and producers of grapes from a long time, this farm built their modern winery in 1999 and were the first producing certified designation of origin wines in the Algarve. In the esplanade, at the shop or at the oak barrels is visible the tradition of this family estate.

Fabio is most knowledgeable and paces the day so well. Eight of us spent the best day with him. It was very enjoyable. We came off the cruise ship, he was right on time and off we went. The restaurant served so many traditional Portuguese meals, it was hard to choose. The views were breathtaking. You will not go wrong booking with Fabio. The personal attention is the best.
The most informative wine tour we have been on. Fabio is an excellent tour guide that takes you to 2 different wineries and explains the whole winemaking process. The sample wines were great and the lunch in Silves with an incredible view of the castle was amazing. Highly recommend this tour.
We went on this tour with our family of my husband, myself, my 92 year old father and our 3 children in their late 20’s and two girlfriends. We spent a fantastic day with Fabio and had a very personalized experience. We updated to the premium wines and they were fantastic along with the outstanding traditional Portuguese lunch that is included in the tour. Fabio provided super interesting fun facts about the wine process and production, definitely recommend for a day trip on your visit to Portugal.
We had a fabulous time, visiting two wineries and a fantastic lunch overlooking Silves Castle. Fabio is a great tour guide, giving great insight into the wine production methods of the Algarve. Very knowledgeable and good fun. The lunch was really good and impressed two moody teenagers! I would highly recommend this tour. Great way to spend a day.
Fabio arranged a wonderful tour of three wine estates. We were able to learn about the varietals and wines unique to the Algave area. Each stop we met people that were passionate about their wines. At our final stop we enjoyed a lovely, multi-course meal in the vineyard. It was like having an extended family. Fabio had to make special arrangements for us since we were arriving by cruise ship and everything went smoothly.
Fabio was really passionate and engaging about the wine. His depth of knowledge made the trip really interesting and enjoyable. Happy to book with him again when we return.
