This tour combines two unique experiences: dolphin watching and the cave tour. We will immerse ourselves in magical world of dolphins that live by Algarvian coast and see them in their natural habitat. We will also admire the amazing line coast between Portimao and Praia da Marinaha with its caves, rock formation and hidden beaches and enter many stunning caves including world famous Benagil Cave.

Bought the tickets, €30 each, from a local shop, for the next day. Got picked up from our hotel in Carvoeiro at 10:15 by van, transported to Portimao. Tour started at 11:00. Tourguide Rita and captain Pedro took great care of us. We learned of a rich family owning a historic fortification, the names and uses of various seaside caves, traditional and modern smuggling, the fact all beaches in Portugal are publicly owned, the nesting habits of the local birds, and the behaviour of the bottlenose dolphins. Had a great time. Took an extra hour because the dolphins were quite far out to sea, but totally worth it. Afterwards we were delivered back to the hotel. The boat had space for about 12 passengers. Some fellow tourists brought a small child, which was no issue Greatly recommend bouncing around the ocean with this crew!
The boat is an attraction on itself... super fast speed boat, 12 year old daughter loved it. We first went out to spot doplhins ans saw a few of them(as the captain said: they´re wild animals and can not be controlled). Then we visited the caves witch were amazing.. amazing views and then another fun ride on the boat. The captain explained the different rock formations and showed some distaint beaches and how to get there. Thanks for an amazing experience!
Todo genial!!!! Vimos aparte de Benagil muchas otras cuevas, en algunas estábamos solos…tambiĂ©n vimos algunas playas desde el mar y los delfines!!!! Una experiencia totalmente recomendable…Solo un pero…los guĂas deberĂan estar mejor identificaros…tuvimos que preguntar varias veces hasta dar con ellos…
