Deze tour combineert twee unieke ervaringen: dolfijnen kijken en de grottour. We zullen ons onderdompelen in de magische wereld van dolfijnen die aan de kust van de Algarve leven en ze in hun natuurlijke habitat zullen zien. We zullen ook de verbazingwekkende kustlijn tussen Portimao en Praia da Marinaha bewonderen met zijn grotten, rotsformatie en verborgen stranden en vele prachtige grotten betreden, waaronder de wereldberoemde Benagil-grot.

Got picked up from our hotel in Carvoeiro at 10:15 by van, transported to Portimao. Tour started at 11:00. Tourguide Rita and captain Pedro took great care of us. We learned of a rich family owning a historic fortification, the names and uses of various seaside caves, traditional and modern smuggling, the fact all beaches in Portugal are publicly owned, the nesting habits of the local birds, and the behaviour of the bottlenose dolphins. Had a great time. Took an extra hour because the dolphins were quite far out to sea, but totally worth it.
Afterwards we were delivered back to the hotel.
The boat had space for about 12 passengers. Some fellow tourists brought a small child, which was no issue
Greatly recommend bouncing around the ocean with this crew!
