De grotten van Benagil zijn wereldwijd bekend en zeker een aanrader voor toeristen in de Algarve. De beroemde Algar de Benagil is beoordeeld als één van de 10 beste grotten ter wereld! We bezoeken de grotten in Portimão, Carvoeiro, Benagil en Praia da Marinha. Er zijn talloze kleurrijke grotten langs de kust die de reis de moeite waard maken. De meeste liggen verborgen en leveren natuurlijk een prachtig, mooi en paradijselijk uitzicht op.
Wij gebruiken een kleine en lage boot die voor een kleine groep is bestemd. Daardoor is het mogelijk om alle grotten in te gaan en van binnenuit te bezoeken, waar hun natuurlijke schoonheid is. U kunt betere foto's maken en al deze prachtige grotten van dichterbij bekijken!

Algar de Benagil
Deze unieke grot wordt beschouwd als een van de mooiste grotten ter wereld en is een must voor degenen die naar de Algarve komen. De felle kleuren door de opening aan de bovenkant waar het zonlicht doorheen valt, zijn geweldig voor liefhebbers van fotografie. Het is een toeristische attractie en de beste manier om deze te bezoeken is per boot, omdat het de veiligste en meest comfortabele manier is en u andere grotten kunt bezoeken die ook erg mooi zijn, maar niet zo beroemd als deze grot.

Het is een van de mooiste stranden ter wereld. De rotsformaties en prachtig gevormde kliffen maken het bezoek erg bijzonder en het uitzicht vanaf de zee is adembenemend!

Explore the Southern Coast Up Close and Personal

We did a cave tour and took the first tour - i recommend taking the first available tour as well due to the limited number of people. The boat that they use is smaller size which allows them more access to the caves then with some of the other boats. Some of the other boats travel with smaller boats in tow or kayaks, but that probably takes more time. This tour was incredibly efficient, and they provided a great overview of all the attractions along the southern coast. The tour itself travels west of Praia Rocha. I would recommend sitting on the left side of the boat for the best views - the tour operators do a great job of balancing attractions both on the way out and the way in. The tour gave us a great idea on where to explore the next few days.

Tour started and ended on time.
We are in a speed boat of 14 people. We stopped at a number of caves on the way to Benagil Cave which is really breathtaking. It would have been good to disembark from the boat for a few minutes at Benagil. Overall a very good tour.

Amazing trip, very nice people, the view is beautiful and u can take a swim at the end of the trip. All for a very small price. Definitely recommended!

Awesome experience to see the caves up close and also have a nice fast boat ride. Tour guide can speak multiple languages.

Seating Matters

Great experience! Very informative! Right amount of time! The only problem was it was a group of 7, my family and another couple (unrelated). I guess we were the leftovers so we were not able to sit in the regular boat with the seats we got a smaller motor boat with normal wrap around seating. This made the ride difficult because we had to hold on the whole time and it was hard to see all the sights because if you were sitting on one side of the wrap around you couldn’t really turn to see everything. So make sure to get on a boat that has the seating for each individual person and is facing the bow so you can see towards either side of the boat!
