Considerada una de las cuevas más bellas del mundo, esta cueva única es una visita obligada para aquellos que vienen al Algarve. Sus colores brillantes debido a la abertura en la parte superior por donde pasa la luz solar crea el lugar perfecto para los amantes de la fotografía. Es una atracción turística y la mejor manera de visitarlo es en barco porque es la forma más segura y cómoda y puedes visitar otras cuevas que son muy hermosas pero no tan famosas como esta cueva.

Explore the Southern Coast Up Close and Personal

We did a cave tour and took the first tour - i recommend taking the first available tour as well due to the limited number of people. The boat that they use is smaller size which allows them more access to the caves then with some of the other boats. Some of the other boats travel with smaller boats in tow or kayaks, but that probably takes more time. This tour was incredibly efficient, and they provided a great overview of all the attractions along the southern coast. The tour itself travels west of Praia Rocha. I would recommend sitting on the left side of the boat for the best views - the tour operators do a great job of balancing attractions both on the way out and the way in. The tour gave us a great idea on where to explore the next few days.

Tour started and ended on time.
We are in a speed boat of 14 people. We stopped at a number of caves on the way to Benagil Cave which is really breathtaking. It would have been good to disembark from the boat for a few minutes at Benagil. Overall a very good tour.

Amazing trip, very nice people, the view is beautiful and u can take a swim at the end of the trip. All for a very small price. Definitely recommended!

Awesome experience to see the caves up close and also have a nice fast boat ride. Tour guide can speak multiple languages.

Seating Matters

Great experience! Very informative! Right amount of time! The only problem was it was a group of 7, my family and another couple (unrelated). I guess we were the leftovers so we were not able to sit in the regular boat with the seats we got a smaller motor boat with normal wrap around seating. This made the ride difficult because we had to hold on the whole time and it was hard to see all the sights because if you were sitting on one side of the wrap around you couldn’t really turn to see everything. So make sure to get on a boat that has the seating for each individual person and is facing the bow so you can see towards either side of the boat!
