It was an awesome cruise!

The cruise was simply awesome! The crew was polite and the speaker was funny. We saw many dolphins and that was so cool. Then we went into several caves. We could not believe that they were able to enter so many beautiful caves. Then at the end, they stopped so people who wanted to swim, could do so. It was a really great time and well worth the money and time. Thank you, 5Emotions Tour Group.

Great experience! Friendly service and the your was great. They stopped at several caves and spots to make sure we saw all angles and captured great pictures. They also provided a complimentary beverage. I’m booking them again when I go in October!

Great day out. Was amazing to see all the caves up close. Very informative guide and skilled captain. Crew onboard were up for a good laugh and had the whole boat join in with them stopped at other locations to mention things they thought we may be interested in which went down well with everyone on board. Sea was a little choppy which made accessing the caves difficult but the captain took us into the ones he could and got as close as he could to the others to provide us with a great experience while still thinking about our safety and keeping us safe. On the way back they stopped the boat in a calmer bit of the sea for anyone wanting to swim I was the only one wanting to go in the water but they made sure I was safe while doing so there was someone watching me at all times and at the end as I was coming back to the boat I was struggling to make it with the current of the waves but the crew threw one of the rings out the last metre for me to grab and pulled me back to the boat then ensured I got back on board safely. All together an amazing day out with truly lovely people.
The captain was skillful in managing the drives in and out of the caves and the tour guide was very informative

Amazing tour, breathtaking scenes. I kept praising God for His magnificent creation and granting me and my husband the blessings to witness it. No one should skip this tour. One comment for improvement by the tour operator: invest in a microphone system and get the guide to inform us about the scenes over the microphone and ahead of each point. On this tour the guide talked to several people only and with the big noise of the motor, we could hardly hear and understand. There were times the information given by the guide and the boat driver was different.

This was a great experience and highly recommend a Benagil Cave tour during your trip to Algarve. Dimitri (captain) and Artem (first mate) were spot on with their humor, expert navigation and safety. They explained the different locations we visited and gave ample opportunity for the people in the front and back of the boat to take photos. As we weaved in and out of the various alcoves and rock formations along the coast, we were in awe of the natural beauty that surrounded us.
I'm not sure if we were supposed to actually get off the boat in the Benagil cave (the one with the "eye"), but we did not have that opportunity. Dimitri took us in as far as we could go and I still managed to get some great photos, but not quite able to get that pic that you see in the advertisements (the one with the beach and entire "eye" in the photo. However, those who were on the beach seemed to get there by kayak as I did not see any other boats anchored or docked with tourists roaming about.
If you're debating on whether to take a kayak or this boat trip, I suggest this boat trip and strongly caution you on taking a kayak. The water is very choppy and the rocks and cliffs are dangerous especially with the boats coming in and out. This does not appear to be a kayak excursion for beginners. Take the boat cruise instead. You can take amazing photos and video all along the coast.
That said, the water can be choppy and waves can be high. Plan ahead if you are susceptible to motion sickness. As the waves got rougher, Dimitri and Artem knew just what to do to shuffle us around to keep everyone safe.
It was an experience my family will never forget. We highly recommend this tour.

Poor organisation but a good trip overall

The company had overestimated booked the boat and originally wanted to make up wait 3 hours for the next boat. We made it clear we had booked our original time for a reason and they then organised another boat. The staff that handled the booking were very rude and even laughed about us to other customers. The overall boat trip though was very good. The staff on aboard the boat were very polite and skilful in driving the boat.
