We have the perfect experience for you. Join us on this 90 mins journey, and you will not regret.
Our brand new speedboat, has the perfect size and dimensions to enter in some of the most amazing caves between Portimão and Benagil.
Starting off from Portimão, the meeting point is located next to the Ruins of the San Francisco Convent, we will start with a small safety briefing from our crew members, distribution of the Lifejackets.
During this 90 minutes, you will have the opportunity to explore one of the Wonders in the Algarve, it's coastline and caves, that have been formed and carved on the rocks throghout the years, due to erosion, impact of the waves on the rocks, the wind and the rain.

Marina de Portimao
Portimão Marina is located on the western side of Portimão and offers not only a safe haven for sailors, but also a lively and fun spot to spend sunny summer days or to watch the waves in the winter. We will have a short walk around before hopping on the boat.

Algar de Benagil
We will go to Benagil, a small fishing village on the southern coast of the Algarve which has gained fame in recent years thanks to its incredible sea cave, however there is much more than just a cave to explore in this picturesque Algarve destination.
The most well-known of the rock formations is the Cave of Benagil (Gruta de Benagil), where the Algar de Benagil is also located. This gigantic cave is sometimes referred to as the Benagil Cathedral because of the various arches it forms, which, viewed from the outside of the cave, give it the appearance of a cathedral.

Really can’t fault this tour. Rafa (our guide) was friendly, funny and informative - he created a really relaxed atmosphere on the boat. This tour took us right into the caves, navigated by Wagner (the fantastic captain). Felt safe the whole time - would definitely recommend this company!

This 1 h 45 mins tour is very well-organized and has lots of
fun. The guide is super nice and humorous. The tour goes into several caves including Benagil. In Jan., the weather is pretty nice but you still need a heavy jacket.

This was a totally fun experience. It was way better than I expected and worth every penny. This tour was not as expensive as the others but we still got 2+ hours and viewed many caves. My teens enjoyed it thoroughly as well! Highly recommend!!
Enjoyable trip to caves

Small boat that went in to caves and as only English speaking people on the boat we had a very personalised service from our excellent guide Rafa. Described as ‘Adrenalin’ ride but journey back to port was fast but smooth from pilot Hugo. We changed dates after the initial booking so perhaps this is why it was a more gentle ride.
