About this activity

If you want to enjoy a private and more intimate experience this is your best choice. This tour is made for those who would like to go along with a guide and have a more personalized adventure in these beautiful caves. Our journey will start at the magnificent Carvalho beach. A small beach totally surrounded and protected by its limestone cliffs where the access is through a tunnel. From there we will show you the most breathtaking caves, “algars” and natural formations always with one of our guides taking the lead, making sure that everybody is safe and having the most fun. The duration of our expedition is aprox. 2 hours and 30 minutes, where we gonna have time to rest/photos at the most famous cave of Portugal, the “Algar” of Benagil. Additionally, we will get away from the typical confusion of the high season by doing a route that is way calmer and most of the people don’t know about.

Great experience! The Team was professional and well equipped, we were group of 6 people and each of us received the needed attention from our guide. No-one was left behind. The trip to the Benagil caves started from a very hidden and beautiful beach, we literally walked through a very tiny tunnel and all of the sudden we entered the very hidden Praia do Carvalho. On our way to the Benagil caves we entered into other two caves, they were dark and endless the adrenaline was insane! Hence, we arrived to our final destination where the Brorherootz team acted very professional and took us 1 by 1 in the Benagil cave in order to avoid unnecessary confusions around the boats that were entering the cave. I can tell much more but I don't want to spoil your trip guys, be assured that it will be full of adrenaline and excitement. Highly recommended!

Superb

My husband and I decided to take a private tour. And for us it was worth every cent. The tour was amazing, very well executed and scenery breathtaking. This was a cherry on the top of our Algarve visit. The Brotherootz guys did an amazing job. Highly recommended and a must for every visitor in the area.

We had an amazing time with Elgas on a private SUP Tour for 3 people. From arrival to the end of the tour we were looked after brilliantly. The team are efficient, friendly and extremely knowledgable. I would recommend these guys to anyone - look no further if you are looking to do this. Great private tour!

Great (private) tour with our guide Egas. If you want to have the full experience, go for this tour. More than worth the money. Beside Benagil we also visited some desolated caves and got great info. If he would do more types of tours, we would do them all!
